NYC, you always inspire me. I heard this question and thought, "yes...why not?"
Think about it...what's stopping any of us from making this our most powerful week, our most powerful life?? Only us, right? And since WE control US....well, you get the point.
So....you ready? Let's go.
▪️ Need to tune out an in-flight seat mate? Headphones on.
▪️ Need to focus while getting something written or created? Headphones on.
▪️ Need a workout without interruptions at home? Headphones on.
▪️ Need to fuel your mind and change your life? Headphones on.
This tiny little device has a lot of power. Of course, that depends on what is coming through the headphones.
Positive stuff in, positive stuff out.
In our heads, out in our lives.
3 Seth Godin books finished in July: Linchpin, Tribes, and Purple Cow. All chosen with intention. All have inspired me in new ways.
So what's the soundtrack for your life today? If you're listening to something that is rocking your world, will you share it?
This week, I did something kind of scary. After New Orleans, I asked my team to write down and share their goals. So now it's my turn. I shared the vision I have for our team with my coaches too. Why is that scary? Because whenever you speak your goals and dreams out loud, they becomes more real. You're accountable for them.
But the flip side is that when you say your goals and dreams out loud, they become more REAL. Real as in, hey, we can DO this. We can make this happen together. The power is in the speaking out loud, in the sharing, in the Tribe.
Will there be challenges? Yep.
Will there be obstacles? Yep.
Will it be worth it? Absolutely.
And we'll make it happen precisely because we wrote them down, we are clear on our vision, and we're about to TURBOCHARGE this year.
The #roadtoIndy starts today.
Give me a ✏️✏️✏️ if you write out your goals AND share them. PS: I'd love to hear your goals and if there is anything I can do to help, drop me a note!
Since the release of Insane Focus I've gotten TONS of messages from folks, women specifically, thanking me for showing low impact workout options. 💙💙💙
Yet I noticed so many of these really awesome messages started with something like, "I am 40 and..." as if...
▪️ there was something 'wrong' with being 40
▪️ being 40 suddenly means we can't work out with intensity
▪️ being 40 is a reason to let ourselves go.
Ladies! I am talking to YOU! Stop this right now!!
Stop defining yourself by your age. Stop letting other people's definitions - probably OLD SCHOOL definitions - of what a certain age is "supposed" to look or feel determine how YOU think you should look and feel.
Because we have to constantly assess, tweak, and evolve. The female who embraces where she is AND wants to find her FIERCE...well, THAT is the kind of FIERCE FEMALE I want to hang out with, don't you??
▪️Find your fierce. ▪️Own it. ▪️Free it.
Age is a number. YOU define YOU. 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
On a good day I feel strong and powerful and confident.
On a not so good day, all I think about is that area right by my bra strap that drives me nuts, abs that will never be flat, and a nose that (thanks to my Native American heritage) is too big for my liking.
On a good day, I eat clean and love how on-point nutrition makes me feel healthy and strong. .
On a not so good day, I eat too much cheese or something else that doesn't make me feel strong or lean or healthy. .
On a good day, fitness make me feel like a badass.
On a not so good day, I think about how my body will never match the vision in my head of how I want to look.
On a good day, I believe that I'm making a difference...in the lives of my fit group members, my coaches, my team.
On a not so good day, I believe I pretty much stink at everything and that I'll never be the leader I aspire to be.
Any of this sound familiar? We are all trying to find that balance between the light and the dark. Life is a constant quest to intentionally create more GOOD days, on purpose, by design.
Days where we feel in control, days where we feel strong and powerful and healthy. It's work, yes, the best kind of work...the work to create the BEST version of ourselves every day. .
How to create more of those days? For me, it's a PLAN and a TRIBE.
How do YOU create GOOD days?
Share ONE TIP below⬇️⬇️⬇️ and let's create a resource of ways to live our best lives... .
What a perfect reminder today. This can be tough to remember...it's SO easy to compare ourselves to others. Ladies, you feel me?? We are especially "good" at it ---meaning we do it WAY too much.
Take a beat today. Think about YOUR goals. Think about YOUR sweet spot, your gifts, your talents.
Then INTENTIONALLY put PEOPLE and EXPERIENCES in your life to fuel your fire. The truth is each of us has more in us than we know. It's really only you vs. you.
And if you're not feeling so fierce or so on fire after this long holiday weekend, I see you and I got you. I'm pretty passionate about helping females uncover their potential (AKA find your FIERCE). Let's start TODAY. There's no "perfect" moment. There's today. So let's go, y'all. Let's find your fierce together.

Could I make a suggestion for that small win this morning?
Press play. Go for a run. Take a class. And in that time, whether it's 30 minutes, 60 minutes or 10 minutes, give it 100%. Commit to it. Go all in. Create a small win this morning. Then see if it changes how you navigate the rest of the day. You in?
Current situation -- not in the mood for this workout.
Does that mean I don't press play? Nope. It does mean SOMEthing is ALWAYS better than NOthing.
Hey, everybody has their less-than-awesome workout days. The trick is to still press play and do what we can do. And embrace tomorrow as a day to do better. Always be a work in progress.
