Two weeks ago, I was in Las Vegas for the Team Beachbody Coach Summit (see my previous post for the awesome details), then just days later my three girls were off on adventures of their own in Ireland, Austria and Boston!
Our oldest daughter, Jenna, is currently in Ireland with the Indianapolis Youth Chorale. So far she has sung in St. Mary's cathedral in Kilarney, kissed the Blarney Stone, and sung an impromptu concert at an Irish wedding.
Our youngest, Jessy, is in Austria with the Indianapolis Children's Choir. She has toured the sites of the Sound of Music...and eaten a lot of schnitzel. :)
Last Thursday, my husband, Jeff, and I flew to Boston with our middle daughter, Josie, to check her in for a 5+week summer intensive ballet program at the Boston Ballet. Saturday had some challenging moments, especially at final drop off with Josie. Growing up is hard , especially for parents. Thankfully, my husband and I had a nice distraction with an opportunity to see the Zac Brown Band in Fenway Park Saturday evening. It was a rare and very timely date night that came together at the last moment.
Jessy returns from Austria Tuesday night and Jenna, from Ireland, on Wednesday night. It'll be great to have 4 of the 5 JV's back under one roof...at least for a little while.
To parents of little ones....on those days when you think you might pull your hair out from parenting, close your eyes, take a breath, and truly realize that it goes by so fast. Enjoy your kiddos in all their toddler tantrum, diaper changing, preschool/elementary school, home all summer long glory!!
It still blows my mind that we are able to provide these types of opportunities for our family -- and I've never been shy about sharing the fact that these "wow, is this my life" moments are all because of Team Beachbody. Having been able to build a business and career WHILE inspiring others to become more healthy is an honor and responsibility I don't take lightly - thank YOU for allowing me to be part of your journey and for being part of mine!
