Time to get obsessed and it’s TIME to get RESULTS.
When I started as a Beachbody coach, it felt like an amazing combination of doing what I love, on a bigger scale, to maybe earn some money. I didn't have huge big financial goals, even though we were struggling. My vision wasn't that big at that point. I just wanted to pay for the music I used in my fitness classes. Goodness knows, my paycheck from the YMCA didn't cover it. 😂 I wanted to buy new Nikes to wear when I taught and presented.
Not big goals or crazy dreams. Just small stuff. The stuff that would give me a little breathing room while I figured out how we could pay the bigger bills.
After awhile, because I was surrounded by amazing people who inspired me to dream a little bigger. Not much, just a bit. l began to raise my own bar just a bit.
▪️ What if this business could pay for the fun family stuff on the weekends, like the zoo and lunch out?
▪️ What if this business could pay for Josie's pointe shoes, school book fees, and maybe start a vacation fund?
▪️ What if this business could pay for a date night with my husband?
Even as my business has grown, this is the idea I still stand IN. That I still stand FOR.
The "What if". What if we could get some space to breathe? What if this business allowed me to do more of what I love? That's what it can do for ANYone.
▪️ Put gas in your car. Run errands without wondering if your card will be declined at every transaction.
▪️ Pay for your daughter's pointe shoes or her club soccer fees.
▪️ Pay for your son's piano lessons or football uniform.
▪️ Fund a hobby that is purely your own - painting, golf, antiquing, running, whatever YOU love - without feeling any guilt.
▪️ Go to a concert with your friends without dipping into the family budget.
▪️ Buy some NIke's because you feel like it.
▪️ Stop asking your husband for money because GIRL, this is 2017. Have your own damn money. Please. Seriously.
Stand up. Take a chance. Say yes. Do something for YOU. Because YOU, my fierce female, you are powerful. And you can rock the hell out of a side hustle that brings YOU joy. And changes your life.
If we've been friends - IRL or virtual - for any length of time, you know one of my core beliefs is OPTIONS. If consistency is my superpower, options is he sidekick. I believe options in fitness = consistency in fitness.
➡️I was a group fitness instructor and master trainer long before I was a Beachbody coach. Live classes is where I found my passion for fitness and being on the stage, with a mic and the music, is my sweet spot.
▪️ I get my BEST physical AND mental results when I am following an AT-HOME fitness program, pressing play every day.
➡️I love the freedom, flexibility, and science behind working out at home. The variety of programs, the structure of the programs, the experience and knowledge of the trainers...it's all unparalleled.
▪️ I teach live classes too. There's no greater high than watching class members connect with their own power and strength.
➡️I take other fitness classes that aren't (gasp!) Beachbody formats.
▪️ As an instructor, I am doing my classes and my craft a disservice by not taking other instructor's classes. How can I get better if I only listen to my own voice? As a fitness professional, I know plateaus happen from doing the same workouts over and over. Different formats keep me learning and growing.
➡️I am okay with saying out loud that I used to do something one way, and now I know better, so I do it a different way.
▪️ Surrounding myself with really smart people reminds me constantly how much there is to learn and how much I can grow
Options options options. Fitness doesn't only happen one certain way. There are as many ways to fitness as there are people in the world. Are there some best practices, some tried-and-true ways that will get results? Absolutely. One of those ways is having options.
➡️ Joining my #fiercefit group doesn't mean forgoing other fitness you might have in your life.
It just means adding some really amazing and results-driven options. If you are like me and love evolving and learning and growing and getting better, my #fiercefit group might just be the perfect fit for you.

Thankful to share my passion for fitness with the WTHR HEALTH & FITNESS EXPO this weekend. The kind folks at WTHR have been gracious enough to invite me to rock the main stage for 5 years now and every year I love it!
It's my goal every year to help at least 1 person see that fitness is do-able, that they can make it happen, that they are worth it, and that it's so much bigger than 'just a workout'. It's not about weight loss or fitting into a pair of shorts....it's about finding our FIERCE and truly living life. It's not just exercise....it's LIFE.

Thoughts from NYC...
•I love to travel. I love to come back home.
•NYC is an incredible city full of energy, possibilities, art, music, life.
•Every time I see a Broadway show, I come away absolutely completely inspired.
•In fitness and in life, commit to the action. No empty movement.
•Hold myself accountable. No one turns the flywheel, ups the weight, drinks the shake, presses play for me, for us. We turn the flywheel. We find our strength. And it's always there.
•We cannot and should not wait for someone to tell us "what to do". We can figure it out. And that's so much cooler anyway.
•In fitness and in life, we have to search, discover, try, fail, explore, figure it out. We have to observe the people and experiences around us then just DO. Interesting how fitness and life are so intertwined isn't it?
•The UNcomfortable is just that until we take one step. One at a time. Then, that 'thing' that was holding us back becomes no big deal.
•Professional ballet dancers take class just like everybody else. Proving again that work ethic, heart and hustle are more valuable than simply talent.
•There's nobody else on earth I'd rather spend time with than my family...whether we're seeking out new adventures or hanging out in Indiana.

This weekend, I treated my team to a fierce weekend and Jericho McMatthews, co-creator of CORE DE FORCE was the headliner! She came, she saw, and she conquered Indy!
✅ Core de Force LIVE was amazing.
✅ Jericho's story as a new mom was amazing.
✅ Our coaches who SHOWED UP - even when it's hard, even when it's inconvenient- are amazing. We show up not to pay it back....we show up to pay it forward. And that's pretty amazing too.
