In everything - exercise AND life -, getting outside of our comfort zone is where the magic happens. The comfort zone might be, well, comfortable. But it's also where we plateau. If we want to see and feel change, we've got to move out of that space into a new place.
When we are looking true results - mental and physical -, we have to be willing to get a little (or a lot) uncomfortable. We have to be willing to push harder than we think we can push...because we are capable of doing so much more...we're so much stronger than we think we are!
