Well, I don't know what I was REALLY saying to my team....but I do know that if somebody gave me a mic and asked me to share something that has truly changed my business and my life, I would say this:
***Get out of your own way!***
Like, legit. Do it. Get OUT of your own way. Stop throwing out negative energy, stop putting up blockers and defenses, stop building walls. Stop saying "Oh that won't work for me". Stop saying "oh that works for HER because she's blah blah blah." Stop FIGHTING the thing and just flipping DO the thing. Stop putting energy toward activities that get you nowhere.
Stop doubting, stop fearing, just. stop.
Stop. Take a breath.
Now, move out of your way.
Embrace your strength and power. Embrace what you CAN do and ROCK that. Embrace the challenges as OPPORTUNITIES. Embrace the plateaus as stepping stones (thanks for that, Shaun T) Embrace your strengths and your skills and your spirit and your goals and your dreams...and marry those with activities that move you forward. Embrace the THING and DO IT.

Mine weren't. I had big dreams and big goals. But I wasn't doing the stuff that would those dreams and goals come true. I spent waaay too much energy and time fighting the thing and being in my own way.
So.....coming at you from experience....if in this snapshot, I could share something that has changed my business and my life, it would be get out of your way, stop fighting, and embrace.
We are so much stronger and more capable than we give ourselves credit for being. Let your faith give you strength and embrace the skills and path God has given you.
Yes, we CAN do the thing and create the life we want to life.

That's who we are, not just what we 'do'. Spending a lot of time this week planning some REALLY cool events for our team...trainings, yes, of course, because we can all be better, get better, DO better. But also FUN celebrations...because we are doing some really amazing stuff this year and it's important to take time to celebrate the milestones and accomplishments...while at the same time, we embrace that we are JUST getting started.
It's powerful...magical, really, to be part of something bigger than yourself...to know you belong...to know that you are doing something that makes a difference and you're doing it with some of the coolest people
Sparta Nation is my family.
They are my community.
They are my tribe.
And together, we know...Yes. WE can.
Frankly, I am never more proud to be part of this team than on days like today....events and moments and opportunities where we work together to train, support, mentor, coach this incredible TEAM.
Not "my" team....not "her" team...not "his" team or "their" team......
OUR TEAM. ONE TEAM.
This is when we truly ELEVATE.
Sharing our skill sets, our strengths, our best practices with each other to help the TEAM.
While we all may run our businesses differently, have different goals, different dreams, at the end of the day, we're all on this team, together.
We have been brought together for a reason.
We all want to live our healthiest lives and we all want to help others do the same. That spirit might manifest itself differently from coach to coach, but the core is the same.
We want to change lives, including our own.
We are one team. If you are on this team and you want to ROCK your business, reach out and reach up. If you are on this team and think you are in this by yourself, know that you are not.

The road to good health is paved one good choice, at a time. An easy -- and tasty -- choice that can have positive impact on your health is the decision to add grapefruit to your diet.
Recently grapefruit was listed by BodyBuilding.com as one of the 15 best foods for burning fat. Citing a study by the Scripps Clinic in San Diego, the website suggests that eating just one half of a grapefruit a day can lead to a loss of four pounds over three months, even when no other modifications to diet are made. If you prefer to drink your fruits, you can also drink three 8-ounce glasses of grapefruit juice daily for the same effect. The researchers believe that chemical in grapefruit, known as naringin, can reduce insulin levels and prevent fat storage.
Be careful, however, if you take certain medications. Grapefruit and grapefruit juice can have negative and severe interactions with certain drugs including blood pressure and cholesterol medications, antihistamines, and psychiatric medications. If you routinely take medicine, check with your doctor or pharmacist before adding grapefruit or grapefruit juice to your daily diet.
Once you have the go-ahead, however, stock your fridge with grapefruit and enjoy the fat-burning boost, one grapefruit at a time!
