Who knew 7 years ago that I'd be standing in an empty ballroom on a Friday night, about to watch 800+ people in my community have their lives changed by Shaun T? Who ever thinks like that??? I was a high school English teacher, married to a college football coach, with 3 daughters...lots of Disney Channel and HGTV going on in our house and life was good...but not great, not amazing. We were both working hard, had a LOT of debt, desperately wanted to give our girls the world, and couldn't figure out how to create a different - better - life.
Then I fell into fitness. Literally. Taking classes at my local YMCA, the group ex director encouraged me to start teaching and gave me a deadline of about 6 weeks to start. I accepted the challenge with a lot of nerves...and woke up 3 months later knowing in my heart I'd found my true passion -- connecting people with fitness, helping folks embrace fitness, encouraging people to believe in themselves and their power / strength.
Fast forward a few years and I fell again into another opportunity which has changed my life even more.
Slow going at first but boy, did I believe in this company, this tiny team we started in my kitchen, in this community, in the potential of this business. I really didn't have any idea what I was doing - none of us did smile emoticon but we kept moving forward and kept building and kept believing.
I invited people to join us on this amazing ride and we kept growing....7 years later, yep, I'm still as passionate - MORE SO -, I'm still inviting and sharing, and we are still growing.
It really comes down to this --> I do a home workout, I drink a shake, I surround myself with people who inspire me to be better, and I invite as many people as possible to join me on the journey.
Ever wondered how you might create a business out of fitness? out of helping others? I'd love to share my story with you and help you find your way on our team.
Join me WEDNESDAY night for a LIVE Q and A. Casual. No strings. Just you and me and some friends, hanging out 'virtually' asking and answering questions.
